Dr. Colton McNichols, Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon
After graduating from Rush Medical College in Chicago, IL, Dr. McNichols completed a research fellowship at the University of Maryland Medical Center and R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center. During this time, he published articles on cosmetic surgery training amongst other frequently cited journal articles.
He completed his plastic surgery residency at The Johns Hopkins Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, where he also served as Administrative Chief Resident.
Throughout his career, he has published more than 24 original articles and book chapters in addition to giving 26 plastic surgery presentations worldwide. He is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgery (ASPS) and The Aesthetic Society. He is also a faculty member for Rocky Vista University where he teaches plastic surgery. He is currently on staff at UCHealth at the Parkview Hospital campus in Pueblo, CO.
In October 2023, Dr. McNichols was inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS). In order to achieve this honor, his education, training, professional qualifications, surgical competence, and ethical conduct were evaluated and are consistent with the high standards established by the ACS.
